Surrounded by the legendary Mont-Tremblant National Park, in the valley of the Diable River, is Le Farouche ; an atypical glamping agrotourism destination where nature stretches as far as the eye can see. There are seven four-season eco-luxury shelters, a farm, a spa, an outdoor base and a refreshment bar offering a seasonal aperitif menu. The natural and wild qualities of the territory make it a most revitalizing place for lovers of authenticity and fresh air.
The A-shaped rope installations are designed to provide a warm atmosphere while remaining minimalist. The interior is just as refined to focus on the outdoor environment. A duvet and fireplace enhance the unique experience of this place.
Nearby, a barn serves as the farm's headquarters. A narrow path leads to the small organic market garden where there are tunnel greenhouses, fields dotted with flowers and trails open to visitors who are keen on mountain hikes.
Once at the market, visitors can discover the seasonal products of the market garden and those of other producers in the region, such as local cheeses, beers and wines. In the centre of the building, the café area and its processing kitchen also offer passing visitors and occupants of the shelters the opportunity to taste the products prepared by the farm on site.
The dining room juts out toward the river, and its large west-facing French windows offer captivating views of the sunsets and Mont-Tremblant. The wood stove invites you to stop and observe the changing silhouette of nature, and to gather together. Nestled in the cathedral roof, a mezzanine space offers a quiet, secluded lounge. The materiality is sober; the charcoal-colored steel roofs and natural hemlock siding recall the farm buildings of another era.
