Position available: Sales Advisor and Customer Service

As a sales consultant and under the supervision of the Chief Residential Sales Coordinator, your role will be to:

Greet shoppers and answer the phone and their e-mails;
Be responsible for listening to the customer as well as actively assisting them in their purchasing process;
Ensure that all clients are served appropriately according to the values ​​of the company;
Diagnose their real needs
Select products adapted to their needs
Provide customers with the technical information they require;
Evaluate the total cost of their purchases including facility information;
Ensure unparalleled follow-up of your current files and the choices of contractors’ clients;
Record all IT transactions including bids, sales notes, invoices, payments, credits, receipts and service calls;
Make residential estimates on projects and plans and specifications;
Take charge of the store layout changes related to the residential coordinator as in-store merchandising agent;
Apply with rigor, thoroughness and accuracy the work instructions;
Take charge of the collection and full coordination of the resolution of your clients’ service calls;
Ensure the order and cleanliness of the store: Participate actively in cleaning and storage;
Highlight samples: facilitate sales through proper merchandising;
Properly process sample loans and returns of merchandise;
Support warehouse and / or office work such as filing and data entry when there is overflow or when there is no logistics officer or lack of office staff or little traffic in store according to your abilities;
Participate in annual inventory taking and exhibition fairs;
Perform other related duties and assist colleagues as needed.


Sales Training, Interior Design or Interior Design or equivalent work experience;
Be resourceful, versatile, professional and organizational;
Possess presentation and negotiation skills;
Be an excellent team player, customer service oriented, quality of service and attention to detail;
Good command of French and English, oral and written;
Have a valid driver’s license at all times, class 5;
Be available day, evening and weekend;
Knowledge of Surfagest software (an asset).
