In its early days, the company was just a small carpet sales initiative to increase the savings of Léopold and Marguerite Emard, Paul's great-grandfather and great-grandmother and Hugo's great-great-grandfather and great-great-grandmother, respectively father and son, president and vice-president of Emard Couvre-Planchers.
